Dare to Dream Dance

Can you imagine having to watch your child grow up fighting a disease every single day? Some are visible, and some are not. Some are debilitating and some are not. But the amazing children we’ve had the pleasure of meeting over the years are doing just that, and kicking butt while doing it. Their families are standing strong next to them and admiring their resilience, spirit, and positivity amongst the adversity.

Inspired by similar events held by other organizations across the area, we wanted to give back some of the fun of being a child to those who have earned that in more ways than one. Each dance is inspired by fun themes and characters we all know and love. We also host a toy drive and make sure every child leaves with at least two toys they choose from the very generous donors we have.

With the help of some folks along the way, we have made it into a truly wonderful experience for the little warriors we admire. Our DJ and photographer have been with us since the very first Dance in 2022, and they bring a special kind of magic to an already epic event. We also recently partnered with Howard Cadmus of Sweet Jenny’s of Williamsville and had an abundance of candy options for our Candy Land themed dance last year. This year, he will be our very own Willy Wonka, bringing the character, and the chocolate, to life for the kids in attendance.

We are honored to be able to give our very own brand of wonder to these kids who show us what it is to be a fighter. We look forward to being able to welcome more groups into the fold, to enjoy this event with us and our current beneficiaries, Brave Little Fighters and Stone’s Buddies out of Oishei Children’s Hospital.
