FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Justice League of WNY incorporates as a Non-Profit

[Buffalo, NY, May 24 2019]

The Justice League of WNY was formed on July 14th 2018 for the purpose of bringing a diverse array of cosplayers, costumers and prop builders together from a wide array of varying fandoms. People who shared a love of the art, and wanted to share that with the community by helping those in need and bringing smiles to them.

In 2018 we attended 25 events including conventions, food trucks and walks. This coming Sunday we will mark our 19th event for 2019 at the Cooley’s Anemia Foundation’s “Care Walk 2019.”

On Monday May 20th 2019, we officially incorporated as a NYS registered non-profit organization. Our purpose is to do costumed charity and volunteer work helping to raise funds for charities and charitable causes, bring awareness to causes, charities, and other worthy events in Western NY, and bring smiles and cheer to those in need. We are actively seeking charitable groups and causes to work with for 2019 so that we may share our love of fandom and help those in need.

“Together, we can help make the world a little bit brighter.”
